OPP3310 is a truly passive UHF radio frequency identification(RFID) transponder that delivers superior performance on a variety of surfaces including plastic, wood and metal. The tag, available in both EPC Global Class 1, Generation 2 (Gen 2) and ISO 18000-6C protocols, combines an impressive range with a rugged yet compact package designed for harsh industrial applications and temperatures ranging from -40℃ to +150℃. Resistant to multiple cycles of one hour at the temperature of 250℃.
OPP3310 has a wide band antenna design, which has excellent UHF range performance. The EPC Global Gen 2 version of the UHF RFID Tag has 96 bit of EPC memory and 512 bits user memory. OPP IOT released two new high temperature UHF RFID tags for metal part tracking. The new models, named OPPD5 and OPP0603, have been engineered to provide long read range combined with the capability to survive the rigors of paint shops in automotive manufacturing and other challenging industrial processes.
OPPD5 measures diameter 5mmxT4.0mm,wight only 0.5g, offers read range up to 1 meters and can withstand temperature up to 150°C.
With dimensions of just 6x3mmXT4.0mm, OPP0603 delivers remarkable read range for such small footprint, up to 0.9 meters, and reliable endurance to temperature up to 150°C.
Besides resistance to prolonged exposure to very high heat, both these on-metal UHF RFID tags come with IP68 protection and survive exposure to corrosive chemicals. Furthermore, they are suitable also for tracking metal assets that have to repeatedly undergo autoclave sterilization.
OPPD5 and OPP0603 leverages the Alien Technology Higgs-3 chip and are available in different frequency versions specifically tuned to provide the best reading performance.

First,you need to know what is UHF.
UHF (Ultra High Frequency) : frequency between 868 and 915 MHz. The maximum detection range of a tag corresponding to this frequency is about 3 to 10 meters. Characteristics associated with this frequency range are : lower prices than LF and HF tags for large volumes, adapted to applications requiring reading distance and a large volume of tags to be read very quickly and tags dedicated to constrained environments (metal, liquid, etc.).

I.How far away the object should it be identified / examined : a few centimeters, several meters, tens of meters ?
